Whitening

At the field of cosmetic dentistry whitening plays one of the most important roles. Our appearance and outlook is highly influenced by the condition and aesthetics of our teeth. It is our common experience that using whitening tooth creams does not really change the colour of our teeth. Basically two methods exist for whitening:professional whitening at home, or whitening at the dentist’s.

Both methods could be applied safely and effectively. In both cases a gel is used in order to remove the colourations from the surface of the teeth and reclaiming its natural colour with the help of evolving oxygen. In the dental office the whole process is effectively supported and speeded up with the use of a special lamp.

Tooth jewels

Tooth jewels are small, faceted crystals or gems available in different colours, size and shape. During the process the jewel is fixed to the tooth using a special gluing technique. Tooth jewels can be applied and later removed without causing any harm to the enamel.
